The Special Pathogens Preparedness Conference is a full-day hybrid event taking place in Lansing, Gaylord, and Harris, MI.
Designed to enhance hospital and EMS readiness for highly infectious disease outbreaks, the event includes expert speakers, interactive tabletop exercises, and scenario-based learning. Participants will gain practical tools and strategies for managing supply chain disruptions, coordinating EMS transport, and improving crisis communication. Each organization will leave with a ready-to-use tabletop exercise to support ongoing preparedness training.
During the day you will hear from expert speakers and then participate in a short Table Top Exercise around the topic you just learned.
Major General (Ret.) Lee Levy II is a global logistics and supply chain expert with over 34 years in the U.S. Air Force. As former Commander of the Air Force Sustainment Center, he led a 43,000-person enterprise supporting global operations. Now President & CEO of The Levy Group, he advises on supply chain resilience and emergency preparedness.
